My privacy

What CLS holds about you, who can see it, and everyone who has looked at your legal name.

Who has read your legal name

No officer has opened it.

No one, so far
If the membership chair and the treasurer ever opens it, you'll see who, when and why, right here.

Only the membership chair and the treasurer can open your legal identity. Every read is logged before the name is shown, and the log shows it if anyone changes an entry later. If a reason looks wrong, raise it with the safety team.

My health information

Answers you gave to health questions on event pages, and who has read them.

Nothing stored
If an event asks a health question, your answer is kept only if you agree to that question on its own.
Who has read it

Nobody. Only the club's secretary can, and each read would show here.

CLS's health-data policy explains what the club does with it.

What other members see

Everything starts off. Turn on only what you're comfortable sharing.

Off means other members can't find you. Officers still see your scene name and status.

Shown next to your scene name.

The short paragraph on your profile.

Otherwise members see a colored initial.

Never your address. That stays encrypted.

Photos of me

Shown to door volunteers and on event rosters, so the people holding cameras know.

Tickets and payments

Your tickets, receipts, refunds and dues.

Email from the club

Choose which club news reaches you. Tickets, venue details and security emails always arrive.

How you appear

In the member directory.

Download my data

Everything we hold about you, as a JSON file.

Includes your decrypted legal identity, tickets, payments, answers to event questions and this read history. Decrypting it for you is logged too, as a read by you.

Leave and delete my data

If you leave CLS, this is what happens:

  • Your legal name, contact details, address and birthday are deleted for good.
  • Your profile, photo preference and directory listing are removed right away.
  • Your scene name stays only in meeting minutes the board already approved, and in vote tallies that never named you.
  • The audit log keeps that reads happened, pointing at a removed member.
Colors never shares your data with other clubs, including ban lists.
You're president: hand the role over first
